Rachael K. Want
Rachael graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in December of 2015. As a second year law student she worked in the Family Advocacy Clinic, where she focused on Protective Orders. In her third year, she worked at the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office as an extern and continued working as a volunteer after the completion of her credit requirements. There, she focused on misdemeanor and felony cases on the issue of mental incompetency and aided in the defense of capital offenses. Rachael also received Title 10A training in 2014 from Tulsa Lawyers for Children.
Rachael holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from SUNY at Albany, where she graduated magna cum laude. As an undergrad Rachael had the opportunity to work for the New York legislature’s 2013 Session Intern Program. In undergrad, through pre-law groups, she participated in charitable work such as helping with the local Boys and Girls Club, building houses with Habitat for Humanity and in putting “Goldilocks on Trial” for local kids.
